South Africa
5 Nights

The African wilderness is the classroom for morning and afternoon wilderness walks and game drives. A daily lecture in our open-air thatched dining area provides interactive sessions between instructors and learners. Sleeping in unfenced tented camps exposes learners to the wildlife’s nocturnal activities and calls. It’s a continuous immersion in nature.

general information

By immersing children into the African wilderness, we aim and hope for the following outcomes:

  •  They gain an awareness and appreciation of the natural environment, its biodiversity and the inter-relatedness of all species that exists
  • They become educated about wildlife, the importance of biodiversity and the process that drive the ecosystems on conservation concepts
  • In turn they develop a connection to nature and realise man’s dependency on nature and the environment
  • It is done in such a way that it provokes a sincere care and passion for the environment and wildlife and the realization that we are part of nature and therefore should take care of the nature that sustains us
  • Relaying our mission and values equips them with the attitudes, values, knowledge and skills necessary to become environmentally aware of our future
  • Living and learning in a pure environment with complete absence of technology will improve social interaction and skills for communal living.
