Known for its pristine swimming beaches and with the colony of penguins as the star attraction, the north-facing Tintswalo at Boulders is located en route to Cape Point, enjoying endless views of the Indian Ocean. With its exceptional location, guests can look forward to seasonal whale watching and spotting South Africa’s colony of endangered African penguins with privileged access to the penguin boardwalk. 

Tintswalo at Boulders operates on a bed and breakfast basis with six luxury suites, with the option of a children’s suite. Tintswalo at Boulders may also be booked exclusively as a 9-suite private villa for fun family getaways, special celebrations or large groups of friends travelling together. The inclusive rate includes breakfast each morning, as well as afternoon snacks and the option to have a private chef is available on request. 

Adventurous guests can also tap into aquatic sports, scenic nature walks and hikes, historical canon firing, horse riding and shark cage diving.  

Tintswalu Boulders can arrange visits to Cape Point (the most south-westerly tip of Africa), the Cape wine route and the V&A Waterfront. Each individually themed room is designed with unobstructed views of the Indian Ocean and maximum privacy for guests. Aptly named after historic vessels, each suite has a story of its own. Guests can enjoy private balconies, luxurious ensuites, and easy access to Boulders swimming beach and hotel amenities. Children of all ages are welcome throughout the property except for the upper-level accommodation for ages six and over.
