This intimate camp currently lies within Tarangire National Park under the shade of large acacia and sausage trees alongside the bank of a seasonal riverbed.
Housing only 8 tents, Tarangire View Camp represents the ultimate safari ‘bush feeling’ as it offers a stunning location with more than just a touch of comfort and privacy in one of Tanzania’s most scenically beautiful national parks.
Resident game include elephants, impala, lions, jackals and leopards, with a variety of bird life providing the wake up calls in the mornings. The camp currently operates throughout the year, except during the long rains in April and May.
Experience & Activities
A safari or game drive around Tarangire National Park is one of the highlights of the northern safari circuit. This beautiful park offers close up sightings of elephants, giraffes, zebras, a variety of antelopes including the shy lesser kudu, wild dogs and a wide range of birdlife. Huge baobab trees dominate this rolling landscape and, in the dry season, the meandering Tarangire river draws the animals to its banks, offering spectacular game viewing possibilities.
