This comfortable camp is unfenced and has 19 luxury designer tents with en-suite bathrooms. There are seven ‘family tents’ that sleep up to four persons, making this a 52-bed camp. The tents offer gorgeous views over the Luvuvhu River, there is also a communal area with a swimming pool, for those balmy days when you need to cool off.

This is a full-service camp and three meals per day are provided. Guests can take part in game drives in the morning and evening. These game drives explore the history and archaeology of the Pafuri area. Wildlife viewing from this camp can be rather extraordinary with large herds of elephant located in the area during the dry months, there is also a healthy population of buffalo.

Why we like it

  • Remote BIG 5 location with few others around.
  • Great community involvement and sustainable tourism.
  • Unique walking safaris and sleepouts in spectacular terrain.
  • The most diverse ecosystem in the Kruger.
  • The fever tree forest…. enough said!
  • Great birding, including regular sightings of Pel’s fishing owl.
