“A seasonal bushcamp in Southern Busanga Plains”
NBC is a small, rustic, seasonal bush camp situated on the southern sector of the Busanga Plains. With space for just 6 guests NBC is the perfect place to experience the incredible variety of wildlife this special place has to offer.
Ntemwa Busanga Camp is the sister camp to Musekese Camp, so naturally it offers the highest level of guiding and service yet stays true to its ‘bushcamp’ origins, in providing rustic and comfortable accommodation.
The camp is set in the Southern sector of Busanga plains offering an exceptional chance to photograph the iconic sable and roan antelope which prefer the area. Full day game drives are provided to explore the vast plains and to reach some of the other iconic destinations. Busanga Plains is famous for its concentration of predators, particularly the ‘swamp lions’, but the area also provides good chances for cheetah and leopard viewing. The birding in Busanga is world class as it hosts a wide diversity of habits and, in the peak of the dry season when water pools dry up, large concentrations of water birds can be found presenting ample photographic opportunities.
The accommodation consists of thatched rooms – semi open classic Zambian chalets. With twin & double beds available. En-suite open-air bathrooms with traditional bucket showers, running cold water, flush toilets & eco-friendly amenities.
The minimum age is 12 years +. Children under 12 are however welcome with families through sole use of camp. No Wi-Fi or cellphone reception – as it should be in the bush! A central charging station is provided. Laundry is free of charge and is hand washed and air dried.
