Cederberg Ridge has the authentic ambience of a modern African Farmhouse with much use of wood and natural textures. The warm and inviting interiors, with vaulted ceilings and wooden beams, give a light and airy feel. Large French windows open to a generous covered terrace and dining deck overlooking the garden and mountains beyond. 

With a restaurant with stunning views of the stunning Cederberg Wilderness Reserve, a large swimming pool and indigenous gardens flowing into the ‘veld’, this luxurious retreat offers space and style in the midst of wilderness.

Choose from guided walks, mountain biking, rock art excursions, rooibos farm tours and sunset boat cruises. The lodge also offers guided excursions into the Cederberg, or along the West Coast where visitors can enjoy rustic beach restaurants. Enjoy wine-tasting at the lodge, star-gazing at the fire-pit, or a spa treatment. 

Accommodation 

Overnight in style, in one of the spacious suites, each with indoor & outdoor showers and a large terrace (on which romantic-sleepouts can be arranged, upon request). 

• Luxury Suites – These three luxurious, airy rooms (52sqm) have stunning views over the Cederberg Mountains. Each offers plenty of wood and natural textures. Cosy window seats invite you to relax with a good book, or to simply contemplate the glorious mountain views. During the summer months, air-conditioning ensures a serene night’s sleep. In winter you can curl up with a glass of wine around the wood-burning fireplace. Enjoy the beautiful free-standing bathtub with its expansive views. The indoor shower leads out to an outdoor shower with mountain views. In front is a charming stone terrace offering both sun and shade. Here you can enjoy alfresco sleep-outs. 
• Superior Suites – The four Superior suites are a little larger than the luxury suites at roughly 64sqm, but enjoy the same décor and facilities as the Luxury suites. Extra touches are a large walk-through shower, as well as built-in day beds on a generous terrace of roughly 30sqm in size. Here you can enjoy alfresco sleep-outs.
  The Superior (Honeymoon) Suite – is roughly 67 sqm in size, and has a separate sitting room and generous terrace. it is ideal for those seeking privacy and space. It can also be combined with an adjacent Luxury suite to make a two-bedroom villa-unit for families or friends. The rooms share a covered foyer, while being entirely separate otherwise. 
• Superior Pool Suites – The two Superior Pool Suites are located at opposite ends of the property, offering superb mountain views. They enjoy the same décor and facilities as the Superior suites. Extra touches include a wood-fired plunge pool, which can be heated in the winter months. And queen-sized day-beds, perfect for sun-bathing or sleeping alfresco under the stars. One of the suites has a small sitting area with a sleeper couch, making it perfect for small families. Both have an adjacent Luxury Suite, so that families with older children can be close together.
